It's interesting that the NFL continues to let Brady be both a broadcast commentator for Fox and a minority team owner, apparently with real influence on the team. You would think the conflict of interest would eventually be addressed.

None. This is an awful year to have fired a coach. It's young and hungry versus old and desperate. Vrabel isn't coming here he's going to avoid bad ownership. Vrabel may wind up in Vegas and Johnson in New England.

The Bears probably wind up with Carroll aka potentially John Fox part II.
If that’s the case they might as well go with an ultra young guy who has some upside like Brady or Cohen. Good chance it’s a disaster but would rather swing on a mcvay type move then a retread aka Fox part II

I thought I heard G Gabriel say recently that Brady will have to give up announcing if he keeps this up. Might be wrong

I don’t underestimate Tom Brady‘s influence in general as a part of the Raiders organization, no matter what percentage of stock he might own.

But in terms of how he impacts a candidate, Tom Brady is a minority owner not the starting quarterback.

They don’t have a quarterback and they don’t have a high enough pick to get one this year in a bad quarterback draft.

If you want to take a job as a first time head coach with Sam Darnold or a 41 year old Aaron Rodgers, be my guest.

First time head coaches don’t get a lot of time to show they can win and if you don’t have the QB from the start, good luck.

I would think it has to come to ahead. Already in his announcing role, Brady is not allowed to visit other teams facilities, nor is he allowed to attend production meetings that normally an analyst would be involved in.

Owners around the league are not going to open their doors or have people discussing anything specific with a guy who literally works for one of their opponents. It’s a very odd arrangement and if it was anyone other than Tom Brady, they wouldn’t have allowed it to get this far.

No worries from candidates about any dysfunction in Bears org or worries about Poles' contract situation. It was all just shyt the Bears/Chicago media came up with so they had something to write about but absolutely no inside info that any of it was true.

I'm sure Ben Johnson is champing at the bit to leave DET to go coach **checks notes** Gardner Minshew and Aiden OcConnel, in a division with Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert.

The Raiders are still paying 3 coaches and just fired a GM after 1 season. They're objectively a more poorly run organization than the Bears, one of the few who can say that. Tom Brady is a very tiny minority share owner with virtually no power outside of his name. He has zero executive experience, but much like his broadcasting, will probably be bad at that, too.

This, to me, reads more like the Raiders trying to manufacture interest on their own as the delusional fat, ugly girl asking the handsome man to prom. We know how this is going to end.

If Minn signs Darnold or tags him then they could probably trade their 1st round pick for JJ McCarthy.

To be fair, they could bring in a 5th year Justin Fields! or maybe sign a 42 year old aaron rodgers!?! Or could I interest you in a 50m deal for sam darnold!?!?

Yea, not sure why an offensive mind would want the raiders. I think its flores, have thought that since day 1. That defense has more talent than the offense and flores is also a former patriot who brady knows well.
