Can someone who would hate hiring Ron tell me some actual legit reasons why he would be a bad hire?

I mean out of all the defensive head coaches, ironically he would be the one I'd be least worried about fucking up Caleb Williams, because unlike most defensive coordinators instead of being too cautious good old riverboat Ron is like **** it we're going for it.

That being said he's failed at two stops already. Montes Sweat might not be happy either.

So I would argue track record in terms of him not being good enough.

If Minn signs Darnold or tags him then they could probably trade their 1st round pick for JJ McCarthy.

Regardless of what happens with Darnold, I’d expect them to keep JJ. QBs should retain decent value and it’s just too high risk to dump him for a guy widely considered a bust a year ago. The best business move for the Vikings is to hold both for at least one more year. But if the Raiders blow them away, I guess I can see it happening.

Its the main reason i am weary of both lions candidates. Dan Campbell has proven to be the best motivator in the league at HC. People are hyping up glenn because of how hard the defensive scrubs played this year but a lot of that could be DC
