BJ took the ball out of their pro bowl QB’s hands in crunch time and let a WR throw the ball —- which led to a decisive pick.

Let that sink in

Hard pass
He gets too cute sometimes, but I guarantee he told the WR a billion times while practicing that play, “Absolutely do not throw it unless it’s there.”

At some point, it’s up to players to execute and be professional athletes.

Did they even interview him?
They requested an interview (as did at least one other team), but he told them he’s not doing any interviews (ZOOM or in-person) until after Washington’s out of the playoffs.

May mean whoever’s last to pick a coach gets Kingsbury, or he goes back to Washington.

I'm not going to kill him for it and will kinda put it as a that's the kinda things you do when you work under a HC like Dan Campbell who is the biggest chance taker in the NFL.

I am in favor Kingbury too — second time around he should be even better
I think every team looking right now is going to ask for a interview from him. Bears, Cowboys, Raiders, Jets and Saints.

The Lions might be fucked when Johnson leaves.

Jared Goff is much improved, but he ain’t gonna get you to a Super Bowl. And losing the guy who crafted the league’s best offense can’t be good for them.

Now that the Lions lost, the Bears just need to hire someone next week.

Maybe BJ can come here as a quality control guy instead. Learn a thing or two.

You meatballs are ridiculous.

The lions scored 31 in the playoffs. That is NOT an issue with BJ. The injuries on defense caught up to them and Goff choked in key moments.

But CCS said that Kingsbury sucks because his offense folds in the 2nd half........:deer:
@BaBaBlacksheep was the only one with me on interviewing Kingsbury when everyone was coming at us telling us how his offense folds in the 2nd half and he shouldn't get a interview.

I should say he's the only one i remember with me when we first started talking about it because i'm sure there were others that were good with Kingsbury, he's just the one i remember agreeing with me at that time on CCS.

I'm still leaning Ben Johnson, but Kingsbury is really gaining ground fast as my 1B. He makes the game easy for his quarterbacks. He did it with Murray, he's doing it with Daniels, and he's even got Mariota out there looking better than ever in the limited time he's been on the field.

You should probably take that Mariota part out after that play they tried running with him tonight. LOL

He had a game winning TD pass a couple weeks ago against DAL. Finished the year with 5 TD's, 0 turnovers, and a passer rating of 131.3, in 3 games. 77% completion %. Again, limited time, but the Commanders offense doesn't miss a beat when he's been out there, which is a testament to Kliff's system.

Well, I understand that the coach didn’t throw the ball but you can’t guarantee that he told the guy that a billion times. The guy clearly did not throw the ball away, so maybe he wasn’t told repeatedly.
