Finally someone is saying this out loud, and thank you! I fell that the Head Coach plays a huge role in selecting the day 1&2 picks and the GM and scouts are responsible for the later rounds.

Always thought Angelo's picks got worse after Lovie's new contact and more say.

The biggest sign that Poles and Co. may know what they're doing is that they didn't bring in Coen for an interview. They interviewed him last year for the OC spot and something did not work to the point that they were interviewing the entire league, besides this guy.

Yup, exactly what I was getting at there. I thought it was fairly odd he wasn't brought in, and maybe now we know why. He may very well succeed, but I think we can all see why there'd be concerns about making him your HC.
