I'm just going by what PFF values....

either OFF is a meaniful measurement or PFF is a bit smoke and mirrors and not really to be trusted.

OFF is meaningful to players who dont have small sample sizes skewing their grades. Lewis has 5 targets who is receiving grade is pretty meaningless.

The OFF measurement is either broken or its not. The supposed skewing should be taken into account. Its not. Or is it?

So the OFF measurement is broken and PFF is a bit untrustworthy.

Your logic doesnt make sense. John Brown has 42 Yards Per Reception. Is YPR broken? No Brown just happens to only have 1 catch for 42 yards. Any stat or metric is subject to small sample sixe noise. This is a fairly basic concept.

Not saying it isnt flawed mind you. Just not in the way you are suggesting.

  1. Duke Blue Devils
  2. Nebraska Cornhuskers
I was skeptical of the extension at the time but solely because I didn't really want to see them extend him for big money until he had proven that last year wasn't a fluke. That was my biggest worry. He's proven me wrong so far with his play (especially the last half of the season) and hope he continues to prove me wrong. He's earned the extension, can't complain one bit about it. Been their second most reliable option on offense so well done to Poles (see, I can compliment him).

There were a lot of dipshits on this board during and after the 2020 season that were claiming he was a bust.
I don’t think I ever called him a bust, he was pretty fucking awful in 2021 in the rz. He also had a tendency to play volleyball with the football down there that led to picks. He cleaned all that up.

He really is turning into a very solid receiving tight end though and is only 24.

I thought it was a good contract then as well as now, though I'm concerned about his knee.

Is it wrong to 100% disregard anything PFF says? Asking for a friend.

No its pretty standard to do so.

We used to make fun of remy 24/7 for using PFF in every conversation.

Its a made up stat grading system for people who are either blind or too lazy to watch the actual games.

Lol you ise PFF when it fitd your narrative and them cry about it when it doesnt.

7.2 pass grade.

Lmfao

Those guys were no where near the actual player skoronski was tho. If Pete had the length gabe carimi had he'd be a top 5 pick no questions asked. Dude has been the definition of consistency at the tackle position since stepping in for Rashawn Slater:

  • Finished the season with PFF’s highest pass-blocking grade in the country at 93.0, (also one of highest of all time), allowed only six pressures on 480 pass-blocking snaps
  • Best PFF single-season pass blocking grade recorded over last two years

Idc if its either paris or him, but I think both of them will be very good tackles in the NFL.

So which are you. Blind or Lazy when you used PFF above.
