Maybe im used to humble fans, who know they are good but sit back and wait for the result to actually happen.

Id rather have a conversation with someone who is open to debate, compared to someone who is set in their mindset and ways.

Well I actually do think this team is the greatest show on ice. Frankly I don't know how you couldn't think that at this point.

The fact that at times they were outplayed by Nashville and then also outplayed by Vancouver in games 1 and 5 tells me that this team has a little bit to go before it can be considered the greatest show on ice.

Because they aren't? Did this team break any NHL records this year? Did this team do anything special in terms of NHL standards this season? Hell they finished 2nd in the conference, how are they the greatest show on ice?

The 8 seed in the division had them on the brink of being down 2-0, and took them to 6 games, and then in the next round they were taken to 6 games again. Im sorry but that doesnt scream greatness to me.

No..in order to be the greatest team in the NHL, you should probably win your conference no?...by your qualifications Philadelphia or Montreal could be the greatest team in NHL history because they are playing for a shot.

Im going to break this down real simply for you:

The Hawks are a very very good team, but this team also is very prone to letting their guard down and being complacent. They play soft, and they make huge mental mistakes. That is why I dont think team is the Greatest Team ever.

No one remembers who won the regular season conference title. Plain and simple.

The Blackhawks DID just win their conference, when it mattered...and they made the "regular season champs" look a little silly.

I do think u should be the best all year but if we only finish 2 points behind the Sharks and sweep them in the Conference Finals and in head to head match ups, it would make us overall better then them.

They are one of if not the best team this year....but when I say Greatest Show on Ice, i mean people are talking them up like they are the greatest team ever.
