LOL I leave for a day and all this shit had built up. With your logic, if the Flyers beat the Hawks, you would be saying OMGZZZ THE EAST IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE WEST, A NUMBER 7 SEED BEAT A 2 SEED!
I feel like I'm arguing with fans that know nothing outside of their team. I don't know much about hockey other than the Flyers and their opponents and yes, I have taken the time to watch all the Hawks games. I'm still smart enough to say that you're playing with a goalie that's hot, much like ours, but for the Hawks, the games are still close. Kane, Toews and Buff were playing almost all of the 3rd period. Just the other day somebody said that the Flyers only had one solid line while the whole Hawks roster is solid. What happens if Toews, Kane or Buff gets injured? Then will it be a sweep? How about if we take the first two in Chicago, where the Hawks are going to such an extent to rest their players in a hotel so they feel away, and then bring them back to our home where we can't seem to lose. Will it still be dominance?
In a series where the team we're playing beat the Penguins and the Caps, in all but 1 game we've outscored them 12-0, with that one game included we've outscored them 13-5. The Hawks beat their opponent by 1.5 goals per game. If you can open your eyes and don't let your homerisms blind you, you can see that the Hawks are just as beatable as the Caps, Penguins, Devils, Bruins and soon to be Canadians if all goes right.
