I kid, but seriously IMOP.....you can lop off Handzus & Rozsival and probably because of the impending cap crunch guys like Bolland and Oduya could be trade bait.
Bickell could be gone as well if they cant resign him at a reasonable amount.

Why's Sharp non core to you?

After the Campbell trade to allow the re-sign of Seabs and Sharp, that fully supplanted Sharp as part of Bowmans core.

Is just say that list with Sharp.. Hammers inching into it as that key #3 but I don't think he's full blown core. I think they are going to try very hard to make sure he can be re signed again.

Keep those 7. You're a playoff team every year w/ those 7 and pieces around them.

toews
kane
hossa
keith
seabs
saad
krueger
sharp

that is all.

I'd go even further and knock Hossa off due to his age and bump Kruger off because, as much as I like what he's done on the PK this year, he is still just a 4th line guy.

*core* players?

Toews
Kane
Hossa
Sharp
Keith
Seabrook

Although, if it weren't for the whole contract squeeze, I would consider Hjalmarsson a core guy too, but the most expendable core guy.

No Stalgod, no good.

:obama:

He's gone so belly up this post season.....I'll bet his agent is looking for a way out.
I don't think the Hawks are gonna have to pony up much if they decide they want to keep him.

I think we need to keep Bickell for his toughness and apparently clicking now with Kane and Toews on the front line. If we have to make choices, I hope its Bickell and replace the rest.

Yeah, I think they will. Look at their core, none of them with the possible exception of Seabrook have any size. Sometime, someplace...they have to start getting a bit bigger. I think Bickell is a good starting point.

Bickells had a great playoffs, but they have Hayes to do the exact same thing...bigger with better hands, too.

Why start now?

You also realize the Hawks and Bruins average out to just about the same size, right?

Can't we wait a week or so before we talk about this? WHo really wants to think about who we may lose after if/when we win the cup? We went through this after we won it in 2010.
