**** I wish most of you had this much passion and high level expectations for the Bears.

Is = present tense

Was= past tense

He was good enough last year and so he has a ring. That doesn't mean he's good enough this year. The Blackhawks might not even make it to the finals if he's not good enough.

I may be in the minority but I wouldn't be sad if Crawford was dealt

You guys are hating on Crawford just to hate. The guy is a top 10 goalie. If the defense plays defense, he has proven to be borderline top five. He makes the big stops. One fluke bounce doesnt change the fact the Hawks had nowhere belonging in a game seven against the champs. Crawford was the reason they got past both the wild and Blahs. Lets not forget the Hawks made "teh best goalie in the NHL" look just as bad as the Kings made Craw look. Get rid of Rozi and quit making Leddy play his entire zone when he can hardly take care of his responsibilities and sure enough, Crawford looks good again.

The Hawks need to go back to being an uber puck possession team. Crawford is just fine.

Quote this for the upcoming seasons whenever someone demands for Crawford to be traded.

Sorry, but I do not think that a top ten goalie as someone described Crawford is good enough right now. He lets in some pretty soft goals in moments where they need him to make the stop.

Every goalie lets in soft goals in moments. This is confirmation bias of the highest order. Go watch the goals the Hawks scored against Quick in the WCF. Not all of them were unstoppable.

I was gonna say, other than the Phoenix series in 2012, I can't really see him being part of the reason the Hawks fell short in 11 and 14.

No they weren't unstoppable. But I think that Quick day in and day out is much better than Crawford. When he is on his game there is no goalie better.
