And won. That's huge. Unless they're just completely spent and have nothing left, we shouldn't see that again. I think we've taken Tampa's best shot and are at 2-2. Find that next gear and close it out.
Maybe we've taken Tampa's best shot, but I think we'll see it every game from here on out.

They think they've been the better team and there is some basis to that. This belief that their inexperience will show before the series is over is wishful thinking.

This is the first team I can remember that isn't afraid of us. They are aggressive and relentless.

I still think our best is better than their best, but we need to raise our game a level or two because I don't see Tampa letting up.

We need to go back to how we played in the first period of Game 3. For those 15 minutes we took Tampa's game and shoved it down their throat. Actually, we took our game and did it better than they could and they had no answer.

I don't think Tampa is quitting, just hoping the Hawks find that next gear. Tampa's been going full throttle for 3 games and we're still in this.

Maybe we can't, but if we do, I think we win in 6.

Oh I didn't intend to imply that you thought Tampa would quit. Just that we'll see this same effort the rest of the way.

Our best is better than theirs. Let's just hope we get to that level and the way to do that is to open the game up. Use our speed, skill and depth.

Again, the 1st Period of Game 3 is the pace we need to try to get the game to. I know it's not sustainable for 60 minutes and the Lightning will have their share of the play, but sitting back against their pressure isn't working very well.

I saw some interesting commentary from Toews and Q when they met the media today. Toews saying they can beat the tight checking by playing harder, which could point to being gassed or not fully engaged, and Q saying "that team wasn't getting a lot of respect around here, maybe because their in the other conference and we don't see them very much".

If they're out of gas, they're probably done. If they just need to flip a switch, I guess that's good news, but pretty sad if they didn't respect a cup finalist.

Goes along with what Richards said about their checking ability being a surprise.

I agree. If it's a flipping the switch thing I'll feel better than if it's fatigue.
