Omelet always cracks me up with his music hyperbole and superlatives, stated as fact. Good stuff.

He needs a blog. He could call it "A Cranky Old Man's Definitive Guide To Good Music". Opinions passed off as fact is all the rage in the blogosphere these days.

99.98% of all statements on this forum are opinions. Is that news to you?

Nope. I thought everything here was fact. That explains a lot of my issues when interacting with the general public lately though.

I love them both. I would probably say stones are better though. CCR are great though.

Never got into them. I went from classic rock to metal when I was like 12. This guy who was live near us brought his guitar and a megadeth tape over once and Dave Mustaine got me hooked.

Wow, Robert Conrad has aged. You need to post recent pics BB.

But seriously, this is like being asked to choose between a huge plate of barbecue or a really, really satisfying blowjob. They're both great.

Stones are the "greater" band, IMO. Their stretch between '68 and '73 is nearly impossible to rival. I love listening to both.

So are the Stones the blowjob? Or the BBQ?
