It was so limited to compared to how great it can be. Thanks to it being a made for TV movie. Not on par with a theater release. I'm usually against remakes, but IT was never done justice, and I kind of doubt that it will ever be.

The Waukegan Police said Wednesday afternoon that after speaking to school staff members and neighbors and reviewing school video footage, the clown sighting has been disproved.
The children who reported the incident also have admitted it was made up.
The children's lie led to a brief lockdown about 1:50 p.m. Tuesday while officers searched the area.

Clowns are an easy target, low hanging fruit. In recent years it has become popular to bash clowns. They exist to make people smile, I guess that is a crime nowadays. Hate filled monsters are heroes and joy bringers are terrorists, good let's keep heading down this path to self destruction.
A clown has never hurt another living soul, and damn you all to hell for attacking them.

I am happy to report that at this time the clowns have been smart enough to realize the crazy is strong in New Mexico and they probably would be more scared of the residents than the residents scared of the creepy clowns.
