Cubs are 12-10 since they ended their 6 game losing streak in the middle of April. We need a win tonight if we won't to avoid a sweep because tomorrow night isn't likely to be pretty.

Dont think Volstad can beat Doc?
I don't think Volstad is as bad as his ERA shows now and we did beat Halladay last time around, but no I don't think we have a good shot tomorrow.

Volstad has 3+ yrs of sucking in MLB. Shark had 1 good year out of pen. Then kept getting sent up and down till last year where he was good. So that reasoning dont work. Also look at Volstad stuff to Shark stuff. Not even close. Your better then that Dab

I am not saying Volstad will turn into Shark, but I am saying that the kid is 25. Shark at 25 had sucked in the big leagues for a couple of seasons. That is the point. Guys are capable of getting better and capable of getting worse. It is possible that Volstad isn't a major league starter, but it is also possible that at age 25 he can still figure it out. Something is up with Volstad with runners on base. This is where Bosio has to earn his money.

Kyle Kendrick will get the start in place of Vance Worley tonight for the Phillies. He has an 0-3 record to go along with a 7.32 ERA in 3 starts this year. He faced the Cubs on April 29, going 6 innings and giving up 3 runs on 5 hits while walking 1 batter and striking out 7 in a 5-1 loss to Chicago.
