I assume it counts, but is LaHair's on base streak still alive since he only reached by error?

I don't think it does because if you reach on error you get an 0-for and therefore it doesn't count as "reached safely"...stupid, I know.

Not Garza's greatest start tonight. It's good to see Soriano get another home run. However, I expect a sweep with Volstad on the mound tomorrow. The pitching staff is starting to come down to Earth.

But doesn't reaching by error count in terms of your OBP?

According to Doug Padilla at ESPN it doesn't count towards the on base streak.

ROE counts towards wOBA but is an 0-for and therefore counts against OBP.

Garza gave up tons of line drives and seeing-eye grounders. Only two strikeouts. He's lucky a lot of those mistakes didn't turn into more runs or leave the yard altogether because you could tell he was missing his spots a lot.

Clevenger is apparently swinging a bat pain free and is shooting for a May 25th return date. Hopefully we get him back soon since our catchers can't seem to stay healthy.

Right because Castillo has been so awesome with the bat and glove, and Clevenger really looks like he can handle playing behind the plate 120+ games a year...

Just ready for change behind the plate. Soto is to pull happy now. I had some hope for Castillo before i saw how bad he at framing pitches. Clevenger we still really dont know what he could do with regular playing time

I don't know I think it is pretty clear that Clevenger can't be counted on defensively behind the plate full time. His bat might be good enough that he could play 3-5 times a week with a couple games at catcher and the other spot starting at corner infield spots. As I've been saying for a while if you are disappointed with the complete package of Soto I think you are going to be in for a rude awakening watching Castillo and Clevenger full time.

1 thing i do like about Soto is how he frames and handles the SP. Just tired of seeing every AB he try to pull everything and just hits GB after GB to left side
