whats crazy is he actually making the plays this year in LF. You can tell he hurt but he still making the plays. I give him alot of credit for playign through pain even though he going to get paid no matter what

Yeah he certainly could shut it down and get surgery that he is talking about in the offseason. It is just kind of sad watching a guy that used to be fun watch flying around the basepaths, pre-Cubs days, struggling this much with his legs.

Castro gives me that impression about him that he could get a hit every time at the plate. Obviously, that is unrealistic and not the case. However, he gives me the impression that he could get a hit as I anticipate his at bats. Hopefully Castro could stay above .300.

Yes, but the thought had dawned on me as well that maybe the Cubs could get lucky with Mather too.

Mather been a career minor leaguer for reason. He a good utility player. Should never be batting 3rd. Tells you how bad this team is and will be for while
