I think Soriano had a couple of misplays that weren't charged as errors but he has done a much better job this season on defense.

Barney in for DeWitt. Would've done a double-switch the next inning but this seems like a good idea in terms of defense with a small lead.

Cubs aren't that bad with BABIP as a team heading into today with a .295 average which is 12th in baseball. There are 10th in LD% at 21.6% which goes along with what we've been saying about hitting the ball hard a lot. The Cubs do strikeout a lot though with 21.2% which is the sixth most in baseball. 25th in walk percentage at 6.9% and of course the fewest homeruns in baseball with 9 as a team.
