4p first pitch was just announced here at Wrigley. We'll have in @WGNTV.

Not a bad first inning from Wood. Hit 93 on the last fastball to get the swinging strike.

Infield hit due to Wood knocking the ball, and Hairston comes up lame.

I love that Brenly was making fun of BABIP with Harang and then has to admit that Harang's BABIP is in the 290s.

It hit LaHair in the glove. It was a tough play, but one he should have made.

The run expectancy chart is a pleasant surprise.

I thought it was a nice effort by Castro and that LaHair had a tough play, but he really should have kept a hold on. Oh well.

I could see what Brenly said about Castro maybe trying to do too much, but the throw didn't pull LaHair off the bag and hit him in his glove. Should have been out of the inning without any damage, and that is where we see that LaHair isn't a great defensive 1B (not bad but not up to the levels we are used to seeing with the 1B that have been here the past two decades).

It was hit slowly enough that Castro had to rush the relay throw so I can't really fault Castro on that.

The play ultimately falls on LaHair to make it is the bottomline.
