I would gladly take Adam Dunn's peak from Anthony Rizzo, but I think they are two different players.

Oh, I agree. I don't necessarily think Rizzo will have a higher peak than Dunn, and I'm not ready to say he's going to be a better overall player...Just seemed like a strange comparison to me. Yes, they're both left handed 1b (or Dunn was one, at least)...but outside of that?

Right now both are TTO players. I think Rizzo's K rate should decline over the season, and I highly doubt Rizzo has Dunn's overall power and patience. Just was saying that if Rizzo is truly another Adam Dunn I would be pretty happy with that outcome.

Feldman clean through 2 against the most anemic offense in baseball.

Another bomb from Rizzo. Looks like he might exceed what most had his power projections of a 25-30 HR guy.

Feldman gets bailed out by Barney from a potential Volstad inning.

Russell in to face Pierre with 2 on and 2 out. Marlins make it 4-2 at this point. Never seems to fail when the Cubs fail to capitalize the other team manges to get at least one.

This LeBlanc guy was really throwing alot of meatballs. He's horrible. The Cubs should have blown these guys out.

Yeah the Braves and Reds scored a combined 4 runs off this guy, but the Cubs should have blown him out.

Great point Gary Busey. Pretty sure my post had nothing to do with his history. Only this game.

Good point as always stalker boy.

I stalk you due to your incredibly insightful posts. I want to be able to say I followed your career when you're hired as an MLB GM

or.......

Maybe you just post in the Cubs threads. What a coincidence..

Nobody else to fear in the line up and back him up. Mahoney? With no walks?

Love to see Barney hitting well and on base all 4 times. And of course his usual awesome D.
