I stalk you due to your incredibly insightful posts. I want to be able to say I followed your career when you're hired as an MLB GM

or.......

Maybe you just post in the Cubs threads. What a coincidence..

How flattering. Next I'll invite you to wipe my ass with your tongue.

Gregg alert.

I wish we had a lights out guy in our 'pen. This close game shit is too stressful with our current guys.

Stanton is clearly pressing, but he is taking some bad swings right now.

An opposing pitcher can throw whatever they want at Stanton. He has nobody to protect him, so nobody is going to give him any pitches to hit.

They just need to trade Stanton to us.

Cubs beating up on a weaker opponent. 3 game winning streak with the possibility of a 4 game sweep tomorrow with our hottest pitcher going.

Not to mention the chance to have a decent streak with the Padres coming up after this series.

The Padres have been struggling as well. This was/is a chance to get healthy. The Cubs have taken advantage so far. Hopefully they can keep it rolling because it would be nice to go on a little run here.

Well seems that Gregg is taking to closing with the Cubs. A start at least. Should be interesting when Kyuji Fujikawa gets back. Had to guess Bowden and Camp are on the bubble.

Well at least it looks like they aren't the worst team in the NL.

I know Castro may make his share of errors, but he makes plays a lot of SS's would not.

There are also a lot of SS that make the same plays Castro does minus the league leading errors as well

where the exact same thing would happen

no the line up would be Rizzo/Staton/Soriano 3/4/5.

Wont happen though. Would cost Baez, Almora and Johnson just to get to the table.

Honeslty, I didn't know Stanton was that bad in the OF. It prolly doesn't help much that he has no heart playing for Loria and the Marlins.

I would let all that go for Stanton and then some. He's at least a proven ML stud.
