For Me
Cashner will be in the pen.
Cashner will be in the pen.
I don't think our Front Office is familiar enough with Cashner to make him a starter, hopefully they can meet with Wilken before ST and change their mind.
I think they know what he can do with all the info and the scouting reports on him, but know of his past injuries too.
Ya, but I don't think they realize that his potential is so much more than/worth the risk... they should keep Shark in Long Relief so they can plug him in if needed.
Yeah, I still think Samardzija will be in the 'pen. Even after the Wood acqusition, the Cubs still have interest in Maholm and Francis.
To me this shows, Garza will be traded and/or Marmol will be traded too.

I keep sayin' Garza will stay put, but at this point I don't know. Especially after the Marshall trade. I thought he would stay put.
Epstein did say he wants to build arounf Garza, but he also said Marshall was the best lefty relief pitcher. I know Garza's mean more, younger, on contract longer and more valueable. But you never know.
For the price Marmol is making, I can see him being traded.
The Cubs are attempting to deal "most of their valuable assets" before Spring Training begins and "a complete overhaul of the team will definitely happen," two Major League sources tell David Kaplan of CSN Chicago.
If we get blown away on an offer for Castro..
That could happen too.
Then you'd just be FireCawks.I'd personally bomb Wrigley then... it's a dump anyway.

I agree with CNM, and others who say that the moon should be offered for Castro.
