Throw in Strasburg and 520 Million dollars and a guaranteed Championship and we might have a deal.

For some reason (probably to increase longevity) they switched Harper to OF from catcher. If he can play an adequate defensive catcher though, and was willing to do it, I'd jump on that deal straight up for Castro. Even if he stayed in OF, I think I'd probably still do it. Bryce Harper = power + discipline on offense. Castro's a good guy, but there's a reason Bryce Harper is so hyped up. He lives up to it.

I wouldn't do that. But it is irrelevant they aren't trading Harper.

Only way I trade Castro is for the whole Royals farm system or maybe the Rays LOL.

There is 0% chance we trade Castro it makes literally 0 sense. He is only 21 and will be really cheap he should be the only untouchable on the Cubs.

There's more like a 2% chance he's traded.

Can't really complain about this. We need the arm and he's not like Hawkins ( is he ? )

They might need a new left fielder...

My initial reaction was "wow that's a name I have'nt heard in awhile." Corpas was a solid piece for Colorado before blowing several saves a few years back. I think it's a decent signing to be honest, it's only a 1 year deal. Low risk, potentially high reward.

remember the psd convos about roberts and peavy. the whole peavy singing "go cubs go" meant he was coming. sports fans are funny

psd was famous for Roberts to the Cubs for awhile haha. I remember everyone thinking Peavy was a lock to come to the Cubs as well.
