He did not go on first move, he mae sure the pitcher was going home, then he ran. That was a hard pitch for DeWitt to hit.

Regardless, he's freaking worthless. He's so far off the line, he has to trot clear across left field to field that ball. Also, he has got to make a better throw to the cut off man. I'm just over his lazy antics.

"Players, to have a good year, have to have a good team," Soriano said. "It's very hard to have a good year when you don't have a good team.

From Daily Herald | Bad overall team also bad for players, says Soriano

And don't get me started on this. For 17 million dollars, you should be damn good, regardless of what the team is doing. He's just making excuses because he fucking sucks. He's having an average year offensively, and he's an abortion out in left. I hope to God Brenly gets Lou's job next year so he can never see an at bat or the ivy again.

^^^^^^^I know that about the flyball but you were talking about the steal, weren't you? That's what I was talking about. I think he just wants the season to be over.

No, I'm referring to the double into left that scored San Diego's only run.

Oh...my bad. Your right then because he jogs to the ball and takes his time to thorow. They would of been better off to let Byrd hustle to LF and get the ball, lol.

Yeah, if anyone but Soriano was in left, the play at home would have been close.

When the Cubs have no rookies play, they don't score or get on base. It really does not help with Hill, Kosuke, Nady in the lineup/ i know Kosuke has 2 hits but I would rather have Colvin. Barney has looked OK, nothing spectular.

It was close, if he did not pick up the ball and put it in his glove and take it back out, he's out. If Colvin was in LF, he's out.

We've had tons of base runners tonight! We just can't get them in. We're back to our old tricks.

It wasn't that close. I mean, with all the groping and fumbling around with the ball before he threw it, Fonzie should have at least bought it dinner, before throwing home.

Average year offensively? Yeah. Abortion in left? Hardly. He's the best defensively LFer in the NL.

:lmao: Good one. Braun, Holliday, and Ibanez are three LF-ers that are heads and tails better than Fonzie and that's just off the top of my head.

I wonder, is there a player in baseball that has a bigger split opinion between the "eye test" and UZR?

I have to say, Soriano has even passed the "eye test" for most of the season anyway, people are still hung up on April when he had trouble catching the ball.

Edit: Dewan +/- has him at -3 this season. UZR has him 7.4. Wonder why the difference is so large.
