I should also add probably why they kept Holtz too as he is good on STs.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
The Bears are not locked with this 53 for the duration. There will be players coming and going even before the first snap in Game 1. Remy's right about the extra LB's and I'm guessing ST's will be a work in progress all year.

Jp Holtz the FB

Jesus, I can count the times he was used there on my fingers all of last season.

He must have some blackmail on Pace or something.

Im convinced he's only here because he's "well liked and tries hard"

When I read the title, I thought that it was a podcast from Adam Jahns and Adam Hoge talking about the cuts.

Looking at the OTs they kept makes you realize how many reps they wasted in preseason and camp on guys who wont even be Bears for the regular season.

There have to be OT and Cb cuts today that are instantly better than some of the trash on this 53.

I expect the TEs (Graham, horsted and maybe kmet) to line up in slot a lot.

The cbs obviously is not what will be there week 1. Definitely a disaster

The thing that jumps out at me is below nickels is our only defensive end right now LOL.

Obviously there's going to be some turnover, and when Mario Edwards Jr comes off his suspension someone else will get released as well at that point.

Tarik Cohen is going to be in an interesting spot. If the running backs all perform extremely well and stay healthy, they may just end up putting Cohen on IR for the season and coming into next season he will have to fight for a roster spot.

Curious to see how that plays out.
Below Nickels?

Do you mean Pennies?

He is on IR.

Inside linebacker is where I think a lot of the cuts will come.

I know there's the thought that Adams is potentially at risk, but he had a great camp to go along with his great games and I don't see them messing with that. Horsted likely is getting an extended look with the team because they know they only have Jimmy Graham for one more year, and if Jesper can emerge, they want to hold on to him most likely so I don't see him at risk either unless he goes out there and stinks up the joint against the other team's starters.

Holtz will stay on because he's a better blocker than the other tight ends.

I think Wilkinson is a candidate to be cut when Kevin gets healthy, if he gets healthy, else if the tackle position is relatively healthy with three or four games to go and the bears want to make a waiver claim or some other low-end move.
Is Kevin Xavier Crawford's brother?

Well, 3/5 of our starting OL was out most of the preseason. We needed someone to fill in…
