That $48M is too much for me for Boozer. I could see a team taking $30M of that for Boozer. And that doesn't count against our cap. The Bulls would save $12M in that case.

You can't forget that money is going to get spent somewhere. Sadly, Boozer is still a very important part of this team. There's nobody realistic the Bulls can get to replace him with.

With Dwight Howard you don't need Asik anymore. Though with HOward being the primary post presence, Boozer's game would pretty much be reduced to all midrange jumpers. But at least he can hit those pretty decently most nights. And his bad defense would look a lot better with Howard playing weak side help defense. That being said...like the topic says, it would really take divine intervention for Howard to come here anyway, so we get to keep Boozer and Asik. Whoopee...

...That is such an odd quote. I'm not going to put stock into anything that goes on with the Howard situation. I still believe the Magic wouldn't be open to trading Dwight to an Eastern Conference team, especially a team with the potential to be a dynasty with Howard in the East.
