Im not going to watch those re1ards can you summarize the key point?
Hahaha you may not like them like some others on here, for me it's only Hoge that bothers me, but they know football as much as any of us do and they're actually around the players and coaches and the whole staff and get to talk with them and get a much closer look all around then any of us do.

They're just talking about what you would expect about the worries with the arm length and say what they think about if he can or can't play LT. Hoge talks about other tackles in the NFL that have the arm length issue at LT and RT which there aren't many of as we already know.

I honestly think he will go in the first. McShay ranked 4 QBs in his top 30. It's this big game of chicken. Basically, all 3 of the top teams need a QB. Even if 2 grab one like in this mock, that means the next team will be likely to take Dart in the early 2nd. Again, with this mock, I'd expect the Browns to take Dart in the early 2nd if the Steelers don't take him.

But that said, other QB needy teams can't afford to let him sit late into the second. They need to get ahead of Ten/Cle/NYG for the reason I mentioned above. I could definitely see a team like the Steelers just grab him in the 1st cause he won't be there in the 2nd. I could also see a team like the Raiders being interested in jumping ahead of the top 3 teams into the late 1st cause they can't hope he falls to them in the 2nd. Similar can be said of other teams who may like him. Colts, Seattle, and Rams should also probably put some thought into it with their 1st or 2nd rounder. If they don't want to use a 1st, they probably have to trade up with their 2nd.
Also the 5th year option. If a QB turns out good, that control is vital.

I like DJ too. I think his background with the Ravens gives him a leg up on most of these TV analysts.

I disagree with him on Banks. All the times I watched Texas, he never seemed to get beat and he was a real solid run blocker. How did Texas look when he hurt his ankle? They sure looked like they missed him in the SEC Championship game.

I don't know about Banks. I rewatched the playoff game against Ohio State and man, I just felt like I was seeing Braxton 2.0. While he didn't get "beat" much, the Ohio State D-line really pushed him back a lot but it was covered up by Ewers mobility in the pocket. Now maybe I am just over critical of Banks because of all the praise surrounding him so I was expecting a stone wall of an LT.

There is no "proof" since the draft hasn't happened. The experts that were pushing Campbell as the best OT and a top 5 or top 10 prospect don't want to have to explain why he falls into the teens.

There is nothing amazing about Campbell's tape, he doesn't have any extraordinary physical traits that will absolutely transfer to NFL success. He played in the SEC and managed to keep sacks down to a minimum. He looks like a solid prospect that is smart and has the right attitude to succeed. Physically he grades out as guard but his technique and setup looks like they need a complete overhaul in order to actually play that position.

He's a boom or bust prospect at OT and the Bears don't need him at OG nor should they draft him just because he is sitting there at the #10 pick

What?

Tet McMillan falling to 22 seems crazy, Luther Burden in the 2nd round is an amazing get for someone, same with Walter Nolen. While I do think its possible Bears go OL at 10 Campbell would be the toughest sell of the 3 imo. This feels more like a "well I had to find a spot for him around here somewhere" pick than anything else.

I think the McMillian issue is because his 40 time at his pro-day was top end speed, it was more in line with a WR of his size (6'4 and 210+). Honestly, none of the WR in this draft really scream a true #1 so I would hesitate to draft any of them high. However, on the TE front, Loveland from Michigan and Warren from Penn State are part of the new breed of TE and I would absolutely draft them in the 1st round. Both have the potential to be top 5 at their position

Are there bench press numbers attached to that RAS or are we just going off his 40 time? I know mathbomb likes to rush out the score before there are strength numbers but particularly with OL/DL I think that it's an important factor.

Membou did 31 reps is about 15lbs heavier, ran faster and he has more than adequate length/wingspan. Campbell is and interior lineman in basically every experts opinion so taking him as a tackle is short sighted.
