Sometimes it's not what you say, but how you say it, as evidenced by this post. You come off as a know it all big time, just like you did in your post about Young, and you were flat out wrong when MANY people thought it was a good/great signing.

MANY people rant and rave about every move that Emery makes. You can find an Emery pick that sucked and read all the same stuff. I don't go back searching threads from 7 months ago to make people look stupid, and it would be quite easy. It is week by week around here. We're going 13-3 to we may not win another game.

Not sure who you are, never saw you posting here, nor do I care, but I have no problem presenting material on here. For someone to go off on somebody making what at this moment seems like to be a bad call on a player, now that's the person you should be attacking about how they are saying things.

Yes, so far I am wrong on Young, he is doing quite well. This doesn't bother me, I hope he gets 20 sacks. I gave the defensive line an A+ for last week, I always call it as I see it. It is a moving object, and always predicting a player or a teams future is not possible. But, I know the very few of you are enjoying this infrequent opportunity when I appear to be wrong to jump all over my shit. It only makes sense because it doesn't happen too often, and certainly not like you fucktards that are wrong as a rule.

You do make good calls it is just the Young call was not really needed at 3mill to start for us.Not bad and Biff should have been Han Solo on that one. $3 mill per year was a good bargain for a guy that brings pressure like no other ...and this was a fact that some "fucktards" chose to ignore because sacks only matter right? Shows how fucktarded some can be. Young was a solid signing at the time but now looks like the steal of FA!

Leading the league in a backup role! For $3 mill per year! Are you kidding me? Go Emery!!

Pro Bowlers? Especially PAST pro-bowlers, lol, who gives a shit, especially when they are FA and Emery's skill was offering them the most money.

He's done a lot of good things, some bad, but overall I would not be too quick to crown (blow) him yet, maybe we should first field a good team, which BTW the 2014 Bears are NOT. Just average to slightly above-average.

Anyway, number of Pro-Bowlers is a Special person metric. I prefer W-L, and playoffs. Hopefully he gets there in 2 years, or we restart the GM-HC-QB process once again.

Past pro bowlers? Are you joking? Who cares about Bushrod playing at a pro bowl level this year...or Bennett as well. Yeah...any GM would have targeted those guys as well as going out and getting Marshall too right? Pretty logical thing to say.

Emery didn't draft Alshon in the 2nd or draft Kyle long and future DPOY Fuller...and what about nabbing the NFL leader in sacks for 3 mill per year? Above average? You must be joking or maybe you are serious, which is a little concerning.

Anyways, we all prefer wins and losses. I guess he coaches and plays ball to so it is his fault for us being 3 & 3 and missing the playoffs. Bottom line is he has brought our offense from the pit of hell in a couple years and rebuilding our D fast and well. He is the reason why we are not as shitty as we could be. Even you can see that.

I realize the post by DaaBears was on the sour side, but he wasn't the main voice taking a crap on the Young signing, at least from what I remember.

Desperado, was far more vocal and annoying when it came to the Young signing, especially before Emery signed Allen. But, most of us at some point have put our foot in our mouth. No biggie.

This. Desperado hated the signing and mocked those who didn't.

But, as you said, we all have been there. Well, most of you have anyway. :) jk

I'm not going to pretend I understand your point on Pro-Bowlers. To clarify: you praised Emery for a lineup full of "Pro-Bowlers", and I replied who gives a shit whether they played in a past Pro Bowl. Then you seemed to agree with me, but not really. Moving right along....

Our O has talented personnel, and some nice schemes, but it is hardly lighting up the league. Far more concerning is your assertion that Emery has rebuilt the D "fast and well". WUT????? Our D sucks donkey dick, with the most pathetic group of LBs and safeties I can recall, and no doubt the worst back-7 in the NFL. That's right, 32nd out of 32 IMO.

Special Teams as well. Those two units have terrible coaches and a dearth of talent, kind of hard to get on the blow-Emery wagon until those units are at least adequate and until we win some games. As in, beating playoff caliber teams in the regular season, and say, maybe, winning playoff games.

Phil certainly deserves 2 more years, and he has undoubtedly done some nice things, but seriously, the jury is still deliberating.

Now, come clean, I will wager big $$$ that you were an early adopter of "JA is god" and "JA never sleeps", amIright? It's ok to have premature priapism for a bears GM, we are not judging.

So let me get this straight, all those past pro bowlers that are still playing at a pro bowl level don't really mean much to you? That doesn't make too much sense right there, you do understand that right? So the fact that Emery brought in those great FAs that are playing at a pro bowl level doesn't count because he just outbid others according to you. That is pretty warped logic. He traded for Marshall when the league wasn't too sure on him and drafted Alshon (traded up but I guess any GM would do that on a questionable WR right?), Long and Fuller as well.

Emery has rebuilt our DL in 1 year like he did with our now good OL and got Fuller DPOY and resigned Jennings. Worst back 7? With a pro bowl Jennings and stud Fuller along with Briggs as dead last when there are teams like the Vikings and Jags out there? Your bias is showing really bad right now and way off on Emery's moves. Consult some stats and tell me how our D and back 7 are doing right now...last??? The facts show differently. Just saying....Emery is doing a very good job and we are lucky.

Surprise surprise. RacerX still not convinced Phil Emery is a good GM. I laughed so hard at "deserves 2 more years" as if he has somehow earned the hotseat to put a number on how many years he has left. #KillYoself

Desperado mocks any signing that isn't an aging former pro-bowler. He gets mad when others want to see young players brought in and play because they have potential. I actually enjoy his take on things because you can almost guarantee what his response will be.

LOL I was and am on board with the Allen signing myself but I can also get excited over young players with potential to grow. Adrian Wilson was not ma boi nor is DJ Williams however.

Again, it's how you say things... it seems that you must get some kind of smart remark in. A mature person would just admit he missed on that player and move on, but you can't just do that, can you?

Yes. Worst back-7 in the NFL. Dare you to name one that's worse.

As for the pro-bowlers, nvm, you are not going to understand my point, no worries.

If you had half a fucking brain you would realize no one other than a dipshit Homer like you is going to anoint Phil with anything until he fields a winning team. Wait, nvm, just fuck off.

No one believes you "laughed so hard', you're just creating a weak-ass straw man so you can sport-troll. Transparent that you are pandering to others, like you, that associate way too closely to Phil so you feel personally vested in "defending his honor", anIright douche-king?

Would go to a CCS gathering just to meet you in person.
