Lost out on Justin Frye while we wait for the 64 year old asst or co oline coach from Tulane to make up his fucking mind. Like how hard is this Tulane has a main oline coach you really want to stay there? You would think he would be jumping at the chance to get back to the NFL. Not that I want him anyways if he was so great why didn’t Payton hire him when he returned?
FFS. Relax. His interview was literally yesterday I think.
I don’t want him he is a has been who should be on a retirement cruise, just like the dline coach we are supposedly bringing in from the UFL.
"waste"? He just ha the best Gross and Net average per punt in franchise history.yeah and if you had kept him you wouldn't have had to waste a 4th for Taylor
I think we all trust Dennis Allen, a successful DC to pick his staff over what a CCS member wants.I don’t want him he is a has been who should be on a retirement cruise, just like the dline coach we are supposedly bringing in from the UFL.

You never heard of any of these guys until last month. (Neither have I) If he is the hire he’s definitely experienced enough. We shall see.
And I read the DL coach isn’t going to be the main guy. Don’t know if that’s accurate or not yet
I think it just shows how there isn't many great OL coaches out there and why Chris Morgan stayed on with us through the years and Coach/Gm change. OL is the toughest group to get to play as one unit with how hard it is to find good starters let alone good backups and it's so important for the 5 guys to have continuity as one unit that when one or more get injured and you have to now play one or more new guys that that once again messes up the continuity and now the new group has to gain that but usually by the time they do there's another change somewhere in the OL. We dealt with this an unbelievable amount through the years especially last year. How is there no OL coach hired yet?
I have full trust in Dennis Allen.
BJ’s agent also had an interesting point in one of his interviews. He said there frequently is turnover between the first and second year of a new staff because it’s hard to get all the guys you want the first time around. (Teams don’t allow lateral moves) I don’t think he was alluding specifically to the Bears situation but just in general that putting a good staff together can be a multi year process.

I never claimed to be an expert on these people. I do have the ability to critically think though and I know oline is the most important hire. This wreaks of having no plan for it and I don’t like that. It doesn’t mean it can’t work or that I’m proclaiming to be an expert.
Justin Frye is a great oline coach by all accounts. It took the Cardinals one day to hire him while we wait for the Grandpa to unclutch his pearls.
How so? Do tell!
I find it's better than hating everything they don't do.I’m sorry for daring to question the process. I forgot it’s that time of year to unquestionably love everything the Chicago Bears do.
And so is the guy Dan R guy.
The grandpa comment makes me think your only real issue is his age.
