And so is the guy Dan R guy. 🤷‍♂️

The grandpa comment makes me think your only real issue is his age.
I love the old assistant coaches. Look around the NFL and there's many of them that are well respected by the players and coaches. Shit i just saw one for the Steelers on the Hard Knocks AFC North that everyone there loves.

You didn't know who Justin Frye was until he was mentioned on CCS.

I don’t get information from CCS but how long I have known about Justin Frye is irrelevant to what I am saying. I do know this, he developed a ton of NFL ready players at Ohio State, he is known as a better developer than a recruiter. It took the Cardinals one day to choose him after losing their guy. He was on Ben’s radar as he interviewed him.

so you like the fact we are down to choice 3/4 for oline coach? Awesome I disagree.
I don't know what choice we're on since all i've seen is guys that we've talked to and nothing about us offering the job to anyone except maybe Fraley and not even sure i saw anything about an offer to him either. You??

So you like us hiring ancient coaches because of some old guy you watched on hard knocks. Sound reasoning.

It doesn’t take a genius to know we aren’t on choice #1. But if you want to live with your head in the sand by all means do you.

How long it’s taking for his most important offensive hire. It’s all a snowball effect from Fraley’s wife saying no to the OC promotion. Then you have Notre Dame’s coach saying no thanks. So now we are on option 3, great.

If Fraley says yes we don’t have this issue or the Doyle hire which came out of left field. Nothing seems organized and he is struggling to build a staff it’s obvious.

But go ahead tell people it’s all great.

Brad Biggs mentioned him on January 24th. You are absolutely talking out of your ass. We have no idea what order they were ranked.

This is exactly the wording you would read when you go and look up someone on the internet to find out about them. Haha

But you said we're on choice 4, is that something you made up or do you have any kind of proof that we've made 3 offers?

Do you know these coaches personally? Why is that a requirement in your mind to question this process?

You’re just a homer who is in the stage of the offseason where you don’t question anything. I bet you were thinking Eberflus was going to be good 3 years ago too.

That’s not how it works they don’t make offers they talk to the agents. This is so all teams can always deny losing out on a candidate so they can sell they “got their guy”. Think of the Raiders with Carroll.

The top two hires for this staff are DC (on paper a home run) and per Allen he asked him during the last season to join his staff. The other is oline coach. You don’t think he had an oline coach in mind?

I’m saying option 3 because by all accounts Fraley was option 1, then Notre Dame’s Oline coach who said he prefers to stay there was option 2.

I have never claimed it won’t work or that I’m an expert on coaches. It’s just not going as smoothly as I’d hoped that’s all I’m saying.

Why do you think Brad Biggs reported over a week ago to pay attention to Dan R? I will hang up and listen….

I don't know any of them but it sounds like you've sat down and broken bread with all of them just hours after you found out who they were on the internet.

I'm just a fan on a message board who has no right at all to question what any football lifer is doing in his hiring of other coaches. I do what you do when i don't know who they are, which is most of the time when you're talking about coaches that aren't HC, OC or DC, i go and look them up to find out some stuff about them or i simply wait until some Chicago media person makes a article or youtube video about them.

You don’t want to question anything I get it. I find that boring I do question things. You fan how you want to fan and I’ll fan how I want to fan.

So if they talk to someone, or their agent, that means they offered them the job? I got it now. Thanks for the insight. In my mind there was only one big hire for Ben Johnson since he's calling plays and that was DC and i'm good with Allen. The rest, while all being important, are less important to me since i know i won't know anything about them besides what i read on the internet so i just hope Ben and his guys get it right.

I think Biggs connected the dots because he knows what he is doing. I’m sure he asked people for coaches who he can connect to Johnson and it was a logical choice (which it is).

Ok you’re just being stupid on purpose at this point. It is not the same as player free agency.

You clearly don’t understand the importance of the oline coach to the OC either.

I just clearly said that all the hirings are important but not as important as it was to get the right DC since Ben will be calling plays so sounds like maybe i do. I'm just not as worried about people i've never heard of as you are but i'll still find out more about each of them just like you do. The difference is i'll wait and you, well you'll be on CCS making multiple posts worrying about who we haven't hired yet.
