It’s going around Twitter we are keeping Hightower. I’m ok with it I like him. I’m not so sure why Rizzi is just so much better we gotta have him. Save George some money cause he gotta pay Allen we have to land him.

Allen doesn’t get a say on who the STC is I’d imagine. His defensive assistants for sure let him hire who he wants.

I take that as a positive sign. Gotta play by the Rooney rules. I have not heard any rumors of Allen going anywhere else, it’s just speculation.

It's really not outdated at all. Alot of teams have gone back to running the 4-3 TAMPA 2 or the 4-2-5 with alot of 2 deep variants.
That defense wasnt the problem and yet would have been a lot more effective if they had the right personnel at the DT positions.
At this point I'm convinced that Billings is better suited as a Hybrid SHADE/NT and Dexter should be a 3-4 DE. Neither one are that true 1GAP quick twitch/burst DT that blow up the interior.
This is exactly why it is borderline idiotic to primarily draft players based on all in one athletic score.
Put a true 3 Technique instead of a long and lungy 3-4DE in the middle of this very defense and you will see a significant difference for the better. The difference will be night and day

I got this feeling that if we do land Allen the Lions are gunna hire Eberflus which is just epic for our rivalry. Eberflus is a very good DC and can shut down Johnson at least somewhat. Should be fun!
