So basically out of all the big time players that came available the last 3 years, the only player that Rose craved to be his teammate is, is, is..........KIRK HINRICH!!!!!!!!!!
:obama:
That's discusting!!!!!!

I'm confused.

Do we want Rose to recruit stars? Or are we upset w/ Rose for not wanting to team up w/ major stars? I mean, we vilify LBJ (myself included) for taking the easy way out, teaming up w/ other superstars.

Contradiction is fun.

Did you just imply that Hinrich is now, or has ever been a star?

Where's the contradiction?

SP want's Rose to recruit STARS.

Rose recruited Hinrich(not a star).

SP is upset that no star were recruited. No contradiction there.

So Rose wouldn't be taking the easy way out if he recruited another star?

You never heard that from me.

Future advice for Mr. Knows Nothing About Basketball Except For The 10 Videos He Saw On YouTube One Time. If your going quote someone followed by a question. Try to make the question relevant to the quote. Otherwise, quoting said poster is pointless.

And where did X say Hinrich was/is a star?

And honestly, what basketball discussion have you participated in the past year.

What stars were there to be recruited this offseason?

I never said there was or wasn't, so why are you asking me? This thread is only 12 posts deep, so it shouldn've been that hard for you to research.

So once again, your question is completely irrelevant to the quote.

All I said was there wasn't any contradiction in SP's original post. It was true then and it is true now. If your hatred for him is so deep that you come at me for accurately defending his statement, then too bad.

If you have questions, just ask them. Why add quotes that have nothing to do with your question? It's a very simle concept and if it is just too hard for you to comprehend, then I suggest you run off now and have someone esle to do your heavy lifting for you.

How come you won't answer my questions?

The reason why I'm asking questions is because I want to know what stars were out there to be recruited. I didn't see any...

Derrick Rose's job isn't to recruit. And he did give LeBron James a half-hearted text during the summer of 2010 anyway to make sure we can't accuse him of not trying.

And you don't see Kobe recruiting stars, though I suppose the Lakers and LA speak for themselves.

I don't honestly know why players don't want to play in Chicago, but I'll say this much.

Jerry Reinsdorf isn't the main reason why players don't want to play in Chicago.

Then what is?

It isn't Derrick Rose's fault. There are plenty of star players who would love to play with him.

It isn't Thib's fault.

It certainly isn't the fan-base. Or the city.

My point was that LBJ is thought to have taken easy street by teaming up with other stars, and how it's bad for the NBA, and MJ would never do it, etc. etc.....But, is that the exact thing we want rose to do?
