I don't necessarily disagree with you. But I think Rondo isn't necessarily the best player on the Celtics. Pierce and Garnett are right there in the discussion with him, and Ray Allen is not far behind.

Deron Williams,CP3,Rose,Rondo. End of discussion. Rose might be the best or second best soon or even later on but I think it will happen whichever one that might be. Rondo isnt better than Rose,Rondo is a better passer and is a very smart player as far as what to do and what not to do but I still have Rose ahead of him.

Rondo is a better PG because of what you are supposed to do at that position, distribute the ball.

Rondo isn't cp3 good nor is deron williams good. He's a smart player, and he's a very athletic guard. Give rondo deng, hinrich, TT and noah. Let's see how good this guy is.
Rondo versus a zone defense and a big man who isn't afraid to foul him is a recipy for disaster. I'd take rose over rondo a thousand times over.
If you dont think rose is a better player, ask yourself this. Would you trade rose for rondo if they were making the same salary? If not, why?

in a sense i agree with you guys. You don't need a pg who can score, that can distribute the ball. On the other hand, is that all? It seems rose , wall, arenas and westbrook all redefined the role of a pg. You can have a damn good scorer as a pg.
in some sense you need you pg to be a scorer. Rondo is a good pg because of his team. Nash paul and williams have good team's because of the pg.

i didn't mean the bulls. imagine if we had the hornets. Would you take rondo over rose as the starting pg? Imagine if we had the jazz? Even the suns. i dont think any of the good teams that are surrounded with mediocre talent would have a better team with rondo.
Also boozer is a pretty good player. Deng isn't turrible either.

part of the reason i never H-A-T-E-D kirk( plus he wasn't THAT bad) was the altercation with rondo. We can honestly say that he leads the league in FIESTY-ness!
I still resent rondo for that series. I hope miller knocks him on the ass while on the rockets.
