I think so. What I don't get is how all these people want the Bulls to trade everyone but Rose for Howard... but no one is even bringing up a Rose for Lin swap. By doing that, our chances of winning a title improve tremendously.

I'm gonna stand up and say it.
Jeremy Lin deserves MVP votes.
It seemed the Knicks couldn't win a game with Melo and Amare leading the way but with this guy logging quality minutes in their absence that same team is 4-0.
Over the last 4 games, Lin is averaging 28 and 8.
Tonight he scores 38 points against the Lakers and outplays Kobe on less shots?
Are you kidding me? WHO IS THIS GUY!?
I'm not saying he should get the MVP award. I am saying he deserves some MVP votes because he has been the overwhelming factor in this teams victories as of late.
If I were an All-Star reserve, I would give this guy my spot there is so much respect for what he is doing out there. I know it's just a 4 game sample size but nevertheless, it is unbelievable.
Sad thing is, Melo is going to ruin this when he comes back and goes back to jacking up 43 shots a game.

The guy is playing amazing! The Knicks are idiots if they don't play him when Anthony and Stoudamire return! His minutes will likely be cut in half, but that may just be enough for them to make the playoffs!

Let's see how Lin plays when 1) teams game-plan for him specifically, & 2) Melo & Stat get back. The kid has game but they did have the luxury of playing 3 of the worst defenses in the league & caught the Lakers, a horrible road team this year, after a tough OT win in Boston the night before.
It's a great story though. Undrafted player, who sleeps on his brother's couch, leads the Knicks to just their 2nd win streak of any kind this season, & scores the most points by a Knick this year. You gotta love stuff like that!
They have a "LINsanity" app already. This is kid better not drop off a cliff in the next month or he will have all of New York calling for his head.

The sad thing is is that if he takes even the slightest step back people are going to be all over him. People are already trying detract from his success by saying that it only came against teams that are crap. 38 and 7 against the Lakers takes some skill, regardless of the situation. It's not like he's just chucking either like JL3 when he scored 25, he's shooting well over 50% from the field.
