I didn't say learning how to play without Rose was a detriment to the team.. where did you even get that from?

So you didn't exactly say it was a detriment, but your basic quote is we play better without Rose & Rose coming back hurts the chemistry & will hurt us in the playoffs if they don't gel right?

Not trying to put words in your mouth but that's the way I read it. And I'm not multi-quoting your response because I find it tedious & annoying. But your concern over no one being able to score besides Rose has been proven wrong ALL YEAR. If that was the case we wouldn't even be in the playoffs right now.

I've stated that there are flaws on this team, some of which you mentioned, but consistent scoring is not a concern for me. Not anymore. Not with everyone from the 3rd string PG & up stepping up ALL SEASON when it mattered. There's much less to worry about this year going into the playoffs than last. Atleast that's how I see it.

And BNB, read the Greenberg article if you haven't because he's echoing the same points I'm making here. That's why I believe this year is THE YEAR.

I wanna continue this with you, but I feel like this whole argument has gotten pretty stale on this forum. I was about to respond.. but I was just gonna repeat myself.. which would have resulted in you repeating yourself. We clearly see this team differently and that probably won't change. Good news is that we'll know for sure what this Bulls team is made of in a few short weeks.

Lets all hope your side of the argument ends up being the right one. :bulls:

We will be fine this year. We will drive home safely in the first two games, we will win one in Miami and finish the Eastern job early. If they don't get 20 consecutive free throws when we lead by 20 to tie the game like last year there is no way they can beat us 4 times. I believe that the Bulls players learned their lesson from last year and they will be more careful to maintain the margin in every game this year.

I agree the the Bulls have learned from their mistakes plus the addition of the experienced RIP Hamilton we will beat the Heat this time.

We beat the Heat with Rose having the worst game of his professional career! We lost 1 game with him back in uniform & playing (and let's be honest we gave that game away). And learning how to play & score without Rose is not a detriment to the team. I completely disagree. Rose sitting has not only given him a better chance to study his teammate's respective games, but it's made him realize that he doesn't have to shoulder the entire load himself. His last 2 games he played, his scoring was way down but his assists were all up (20 combined shots, 15 assists, 2 turnovers) & the team looked perfectly fine against 2 playoff teams.

I'm not saying there aren't flaws with the team but this is NOT last year's team by any means.
Last years team swept the Heat in the regular season. How did that work in the playoffs?

This is a new season not last season genius stop living in the past. Every Heat fan has used that lame excuse but they forget how they CHOKED in the Finals.
