Marshall has been used very sparingly for whatever reason. Probably because they don't get into enough "situations" for Dusty to be forced to use him.

Travis Wood has more innings pitched than Marshall right now. The line looks bad and the peripherals are kind of meh too, but the Cubs needed an innings-eater, not a setup man.

Camp has been a real nice add to this team. I still have to believe that a guy making nothing and having the kind of year fetches you something decent.

Camp is a reliever...he won't bring a lot back, I'm afraid. Sort of like Marshall, who was an excellent reliever but is still just a reliever.

Double play ball gives Verlander a shot at coming back out in the ninth.

Not a lot, but you would think we could a decent prospect back with the way he is going.

Verlander at what 105 pitches? He is coming back out for the ninth I would bet.

Of course as I say that, the Tigers have a pinch hitter on deck for Verlander.

Campana misses on a dive that if the guy had been sent would have been an inside the park homerun.

Tigers have been missing Austin Jackson, methinks.

I'm thinking there's a less than 10% chance some GM is going to overpay for an old dude who was DFA'ed before he had to settle for being a Cub

What bullpen arms are going to be out there though? I don't think we are getting a top 10 prospect or something, but I don't think it is out of the question to get a guy with some upside and some serious flaws to go with that upside.

Campana with a bloop double to make some amends for his OF defense today.
