Devin will go down as one of the best return man in history and Cutler won't sniff the best of anything in the NFL.

What does that have to do with Hester's receiving career? He is the one who brought it up

Best Bears QB.

He arguably is for what it is worth, but you left out Kramers season, which is actually the best season by a bears qb.
:eek:hmy:I dont know why people keep taking shots at that poor guy...:eek:hmy:

Some real ******'s in here. This guy was one of the most electrifying players in modern Bears history, if not THE MOST ELECTRIFYING player. This kid deserves nothing but our respect, no matter how unsuited he is for a WR. The staff made the decision to keep Hester on the offense, not Devin Hester.

To his own skepticism and detriment no less. He was smart to demand the money he was paid to be forced into a role he wasn't suited for.

Who here hates Hester? It's like iueyedoc said we can't actually discuss football and other player weaknesses without some clowb trying to label you

Clown hater (or maybe clowb but I'm assuming that's clown).

I don't hate those players. Maybe Grossman a little, but I blame the coaches and higher for all of it, even Grossman.
This team cannot be this consistent at being shit without the problem coming from higher up. We see the same problems year after year, coach after coach, even GM after GM.
And I was always iffy about the CFL to the NFL experience. '14 wasn't a great success but it does show that more could be done with Cutler and the excuses of "new system" we're always fed is BS.

Cutler used to take shots at Devin as well. He just never caught them.

Hester is in a great situation in the dome of his master where he can continue to return kicks while being worked occasionally for the aging White in an explosive passing offense with an elite in intelligence Qb.

Cutler and Hester were a bad pairing.

I agree with this. When the Bears traded for Cutler, I remember my buddy saying, "How do you stop Cutler to Hester? You don't!"

It didn't seem idiotic at the time, but oy vey.

Wasnt Cutler constantly telling Hester where to line up? Im not surprised Cutler got frustrated as it showed more lack of knowledge of Hester's part than anything. Cutler eventually just found better targets (IE actually WR's) like Olsen,Marshall,Knox Davis, Bennett and even aromashadu. He never seems to have a problem telling those guys where to line up. With the Falcons they were super pass happy (3rd in the league) and they had injuries at WR (White and Jones constantly dealing with nagging injuries and even Harry Douglass being hurt) and yet his numbers and targets arent that far off from his 2010 season (the reason I used that is because he was being phased out by OC's, better WR's coming in and of course Cutler each year) when Hester had 475 yards and 4 td's compared to his 504 yards and 2 td's.

I remember Mushin Muhammad doing that in 06 or 07.
