I'll let the coaches decide on Gibson & Jones, you know someone that sees 100% of snaps and practice all week.
I agree. If he can keep fooling the coaches, he might have a chance of making it, and, because of this, he will be more deserving than some other DE that couldn't show out against 3rd and 4th stringers himself.

Travis Gibson was so obviously mad and salty about Eberfloss putting him like 19th on the depth chart, dude was literally living in the Titans backfield ??? apparently he thinks that if he bullies 4th stringers in meaningless football games we'll all just forget that he was on the back of a milk carton all of last year?? Is there anyone who's actually buying this pile of turd slop he's selling right now cus I do not.

Oh and I absolutely ROFL'd out of my recliner when Kendall Vildoor got straight stiff armed out his cleats when he finally got a chance to take the field with 3 mins left against some future Dunkin Donuts employees. He's definitely a first wave cut, he's just really bad at playing football which is pretty important.

I 100% love the demeanor and swag the D is bringing this year, they are just straight dripping with finesse and are potentially goated with the sauce, but we can't be having these fake weirdos like Vildoor and Gibby hanging around killing vibes. Gibby might just murder a coach if he drops any further than 5th string on the depth chart so that's something to consider as well.

And cut Venus Jr yesterday, like what in the fuck are we doing? Since he turns 38 years old in November I'm not sure he still has the stamina and 'bounce' like he once had to be able to just go for those athletic 'off the backboard' type rebounds off of punt bounces anymore. Also that was never a thing so in his age 42 season I don't think now is the time to make it a thing.

Anyone share any of these thoughts?

I can't disagree, or agree, because I didn't watch, but this makes me happy.

If 99 plays the same way next week, he makes the team.

That being said, he's probably not a scheme fit. Should have traded him last year when his stock was at an all time high.

Imagine if Gipson would play pissed off all the time....

It was clearly a message to him. He got into the game early, maybe a product of both walker and ngonkeykong dont playing.

Still, the other guy on dfence that was listed as "OTHER" was vildor, and that bum only came in the last 5 minutes of the 4th.

You both are right. If Gipson is cut, he will be part of the first and only wave of cuts this year. New rule for 2023.
At a certain point you have to cut people out of principle. I'm not saying that applies to Gibson per se, but it definitely applies to Vildoof

Or if he could just always play 4th stringers in non scripted exhibition games. He might literally push for DPOY!

Gipson not Gibson.

I was going to be an asshole and ask who Trevis Gibson was but decided not to since you just dropped in after a long absence.

Even if he is good as @dabears70 might say, he is behind so many good CBs, that I do not see how he can make the team.

Well i've only ever said he's good enough to be a backup CB sooooooo.........................
I was honestly trying to see your point of view, yet I felt it near impossible for him to make the team with so many good CBs on the roster. Good for the Bears.

Yeah it doesn't look good for Vildor especially with the coaching staff bringing in so many CB's in the last two offseasons who have so much length which is what Flus loves and Vildor and length don't really match.

I'll give you a chance to save face I guess - did you mean good enough to back up XFL CBs?
