There is a striking resemblance to He-man, even before he dons the shoulder pads and say "coming through,'*, in the new Cup add featuring the toews' home movies. Probably, no definitely, the best use of cinema-verite ever in a commercial.



*...or whatever Toews says - of course he can say nothing wrong, and us mere mortals can only hope (dream?) to approximate his concise eloquence. He is Toews, after all.

I don't get all their hatred for this. I mean, it would be one thing if they were sucking off some random star who has the potential to be good. But Toews hasn't proved any of them wrong and is the real deal and deserves the praise of our holy lord and savior. The way he's playing, top 5 player in the league and from their reaction, it's obvious from their reaction that they don't realize it either. Which justifies the verbal blowjobs the broadcast give him. Frankly it's about time he gets the pub he deserves. **** um. let them have the cancer that Toews cured if they don't want it.

Had just turned 22 and had a Cup ring, Conn Smythe trophy, and at 21 an Olympic Gold medal and voted best forward at the 2010 Olympics.



Apparently, it's subconscious jealousy.

As funny as all these posts sound...do you really blame them. They have a team that has no future in it. It is built to win now but has not shown up during the big games. The Sharks window of success is no more then 3 years. their failure is drafting and good farm system. Thorton, Heatly, Boyal, Marlow, I am guessing they are up there in age, I don't have exact #s in age. They see our core being so young and domiating. They believe in their heart of hearts they should have won the cup a couple years ago with the way they finish the season on top every year. But they fail to realize that talent is not always going to get you there. Its heart and leadership which from what I have seen they lack of. So they now the window is closing on them and they are frustrated and how they show it...by blaming other teams of their success in the public eye.

I'm pretty sure he also won the U18 Worlds too.



I think the only thing he didn't win is an NCAA Championship.
