Waldron has been enjoying his credentials as another McVay disciple but the league is wisening up to that brittle, overrated coaching tree. His offense is trash, and he has no clue on how to groom a rookie or ease their transition into the NFL.
As for Eberflus, I was never a fan of his hiring to begin with. The fact that he enjoyed such a significant stint in post-Parcells Dallas, whose owner is all about entertainment and not football, should have been an indicator that he would lack the grit, intelligence, or character to be a head coach in this town. That was his longest coaching stint in the NFL -- he must have really loved that country club atmosphere.
