Our glaring weaknesses last year we're extremely evident in the Heat series. If teams just double up on Rose then we literally have no one else on our team who can create their own shot or even start scoring some points.

Once you have multiple threats on a team, it opens up options and allows all your players to score and play. This is something basic that the Bulls organization haven't figured out yet and until we do, this team will never win a championship.

I vote we trade for Monta Ellis

Honestly, when I heard immediately after the NBA Finals that Ellis might be available that he should be the number 1 target for the bulls, whether it actually happens is pretty doubtful.

He can easily average 25/5/4, he creates his own shot and he isn't a bad defender either. He is by far the best SG available but I don't know what GS would want for him but he would be a great fit.

No matter what we do with Noah/Boozer/Deng I really think we have to keep Asik and Gibson. In case a deal comes up that means we could get either Howard or Ellis, where we have to ship one of those guys. We will need Asik and Gibson to fill in immediately (for much cheaper).

Weird.... That's the point I was going to make :bizarro: because Boozer we don't need, we have taj for much cheaper and younger, so if we could get someone to take him and a draft pick or cash then I think that's a good deal to pull the trigger on, I still think we need Noah and Deng around, but well see how Asik does in his second season.

ya...he kinda is lol

i wouldnt mind ellis depending on what his cost is...he can create...of course he doesnt help the outside shot(which is a problem people forget on here)

he is a bit undersized and his defense sucks...can he learn how to play better D in a new system...probably but his size puts at him at a slight handicap

On what planet does $12 million Ben Gordon do a better job then $11 million Monta Ellis. Also J.R. Smith isn't all that and a bag of chips either (lol).

If we're talking about FA SGs, then I actually quite like Marcus Thornton.

Yeah, let's get B.G. or J.R. and completely ignore that there are multiple SG's out there who are better/much better defenders while, at the same time, being sufficient offensive players.

Oh yeah, and let's just ignore the offensive flaws of B.G. and J.R. as well.

Let's just forget that J.R. Smith doesn't like to pass the ball and over-dribbles going absolutely nowhere.

Let's just forget that Ben Gordon is a bad ball-handler and undersized.
