Spiders.

I know they serve a practical use to get rid of a ton of nasty ass bugs as well but I'd prefer they could **** off forever.

ND is horrible.
I had a corporate sales gig for a F500 company locally after college and actually did really well out of the gate.

By about 18 mos. in I was done.

I am afraid of ever having to have a straight 50hrs a week type corporate cubicle gig ever again.....

Just a horrible existence for me; I would take a 50 percent pay cut from where I am at now and teach middle school or something rather than go back. If you guys have kids/a family, I understand, but it's just a fairly pitiable existence.

Nah. Just tell her you let a few dozen of these loose to take care of the spider problem.

Yep, when I see them they get left alone unless they happen to be crawling on me (and that's more out of instinct to whack whatever is crawling on me than wanting to kill a spider). I mean, seriously, how many deadly spider species will an average American run into? Two (widows and reclusives)? Hobos and yellow sacs can be painful and cause necrosis but are rarely fatal. Only 4 fatalities on average in the US per year and this is what people are scared of?

For the record recluse bites cause necrotic wounds and are rarely fatal as well.

House centipedes.
I have an older home, so I get them frequently. When they're on the move they startle the shit out of you.
I hear they take care of spiders, so please stop startling me. Whacking them with a shoe obliterates them, but they're legs keep twitching after death, and that's creepy too.

I have a phobia about ticks.
I work outdoors, play outdoors, and If i see one walking on me I will spend the rest of the day thinking every itch, tickle, or gust of wind that hits me is a tick crawling on me.
