I did for the majority of my life (myopia) and I hated both contacts and glasses. For the last 3 years I've been wearing custom hard lenses that I put in right before sleep and take out immediately after I wake up and see 20/20 all day. I forgot to bring my lenses on a trip and had to wear glasses/daily disposables for several days and I really forgot how much it sucks.

Softs in for 2 weeks or until they bother me. Just saw my Eye Doc and he said that up to 2 weeks is not a problem.

Ditto.

In about 15 years of wearing them, I think I've fallen asleep with them in maybe twice. Even when hammered, I have no issues remembering to take them out.

Never really considered lasik because I find contacts to be such low maintenance. Less effort than brushing teeth.

I like the fresh feeling of putting them in when they've been cleaning in cold solution all night. On the rare occasion where I've slept with them in, my eyes feel horrible. Not painful, just ... not fresh. Like when you haven't showered and you get that kinda grotty feeling.

Same here.... removing contacts and doing a shot of insulin before I go to sleep is just a routine for me.... the insulin being quite vital so I never forget it and thus I never forget the contacts either lol.

Accidentally falling asleep with contacts in is a terrible feeling on the eyes. As such if I know there's a situation in which I may be prone to sleeping, I'll just wear glasses.

I've worn glasses for close to 20 years but have only had to change prescriptions twice. I haven't considered lasik or contacts because I fucking hate the idea of anything around my eyes.

My old contacts sucked if I tried to sleep with them in. Try Acuvue Advance contacts. Change them every 2 weeks and never have any problems.

I'm not sure how(actually, I do know how). But I'm almost 40, stare at computer screens all day for over 30 years, and somehow I still have perfect vision. I had my last eye exam in October.
