Sorry you don't know anything about cars. And you can gfy.

smh

First off, bullshit downloadable reflashes are for people who are either dumb or cheap.

People who say "stage x" don't know shit about cars, obviously.

I've been building one off parts for people with too much money regardless if it floats, flies, or drives for quite some time.

Nobody cares about your VW.

I agree...but that Cutlass isnt in the same league as that new Challenger Hellcat...The motor alone in that car would cost 30K to build at a speed shop..Plus, a Cutlass with a plain jane 350 wouldnt be considered a muscle car IMO

That 350 rocket put out 300HP stock, while the less reliable 455 only produced a mere 50 HP extra. Yet, the 455 motor commands more $$ b/c it is considered a "muscle car" engine. For a mere few hundred bucks, you can drop in a high performance alternator in the 350 and add 30HP immediately.

Wish I was near GA, that original is a steal at 9K...they can keep the 8 tracks though.:p

Put an added 10K in a car like that, and for 20 grand you'll have something worth double the amount in 20 years and performs fairly close to that hellcat.

My Dad had a '69 442 when I was a kid. Love those cars.

Too bad all the ones I see are rolling on 30"s and painted like a candy wrapper these days.

I'm at the point where people get mad at me because I WON'T race them. It is usually some idiot in some Civic that is lowered and smoking and sounds like it is about to blow up. V8 guys get pissed too. I really have no interest in racing your stock Corvette. People get pissed. I actually had someone in a C5 Vette pull up next to me (after doing flyby) and say "You aren't in the same class as me". I replied, "You are right, I make about 400 more horsepower than you".

LOL it might have been a friend of a friend. That guy is loaded but he gets so salty at losing races. Once, he lost a race so he literally sold his vette and bought a new one. At the dealership he was like I am not going to modify this one. Not even an hour after getting into his garage he was removing the engine and ordering parts. I was laughing.

get a truck honkies
My 1996 F350 crew cab 4x4 is a beast. 460 engine that helps it to get 9 mpg. It only has 92000 mi and is in very good shape. I've got a BOSS 8 foot plow for snow. I drive it less than 2000 mi a year. It' a tool. Same way I look at my V10 E350 van.

Damn, and all this time I've been proud that I'm getting 43mpg on average out of a mere 160hp car. lol, I'm bragging about the wrong things!

Dude, after driving a gas guzzler since 2007 I am about ready to buy a new car that is gas friendly so I can keep my Charger first of all in better condition and second of all as a leisure vehicle. I seriously hate how fucking Special person people are at parking. I have had fresh paint jobs last me less than two weeks because of this. Oh and woe is the mother ****** that dares scratch the paint or door ding me while I am watching. I have keyed the shit out of several cars for doing that shit.

The hellcat is a 10 second car (with radial drag tires), and I believe the most powerful muscle car ever made.. It has over 700HP..0-60 in 3.5 seconds..No Cutlass 350 performs like that...sorry

If someone wants a Cutlass to take the kids for ice cream on Sunday, thats fine..Just dont go comparing it to a 10 second rocketship on wheels..Watch what it does to a 1971 Challenger 426 hemi

First off, bullshit downloadable reflashes are for people who are either dumb or cheap.

Or for people who don't want to do standalone engine management or pay for somebody to do a custom tune.

People who say "stage x" don't know shit about cars, obviously.

Why's that? I've had several cars with "run of the mill" ECM reflashes and I'd like to think I've learned something in the 15 years I've been working on cars. Again, if people aren't wanting to have custom profiles made, why pay somebody to tune their vehicle when a reflash, along with accompanying mods, will suffice just fine?

I've been building one off parts for people with too much money regardless if it floats, flies, or drives for quite some time.

DOESN'T MEAN YOU KNOW SHIT ABOUT CARS LOLOLOL

I am amazed they were able to keep both Dodge's running long enough for a comparison.

lol..I have never owned a Dodge, so I cant comment..But I do remember my friends owning them back in the late 60's..They were good for one thing...Going Fast!

edit..I owned a 60 ..I bought it for 10 bucks..I had to put old stop signs in to repair the floor..It had a slant 6, and it ran forever..I drove that thing all over..I even took it from Chicago to Pittsburgh once for a music convention..

1,200 HP, and the owner drives it to work. That slant 6 was a pretty good motor, I think Buick may have used it as well...no balls but easy to maintain.

In 68 I bought a Nickey 427 Camaro..That was a fast car also..But not as big a motor as the one you show

I love the slant six. Used to have a fargo van, and have had a 64 valiant, push button transmission for 15 years. Runs like a champ, although I don't drive in the city. Great for trips up the coastal highway. Fantastic engines that will run forever. The gaskets are the problem, lol.
