Nobody knows exactly how the draft will go. Assuming the top two OL players, Will Cambell and Kelvin Banks, are gone-a real possibility- how do you draft in the first 3 rounds? Do you reach for an OG or OT who is probably going to be there in the 2nd or 3rd rounds anyway, or do you go for the BPA?

And if so, who do you think will be available to pick?

There’s gonna be a lot more than 2 OL with first round grades

With value at the 10th pick? (Assume no partner for a trade down. )

The question is: do you reach for an O lineman if the quality that high in the draft isn't there?

Our opinion of value is not relevant and usually wrong. Who knows how these teams value these guys.

Sir this is the greatest collection of football intelligence in the world. How dare you insult the collective intellect on this board.

The value at 10 is going go be DL most likely. Fix the OL in FA so you dont have to draft an OL out of need. If they are in your highest BPA tier then fine draft one at 10.

You can’t “fix” the OL in free agency. You can get a couple good players maybe. But “fixing” this requires drafting players and developing them.

It's changing everywhere daily atm. I mean some people think Banks will be a guard. Some say Simmons has better potential than either Banks or Campbell. Right now the NFL.com mock has us taking Tyler Booker the guard at 10 with Banks and Simmons still on the board. We'll learn a lot more at the combine but it seems there are valid options at 10 even if a couple are taken before we pick. We need to fix the OL and do it so we have talent coming in for the future.

I’m fine with them drafting line either side of the ball (BPA obviously).

I think they need to come into next year with at a minimum 3 new players on both the O and D lines.

The highest rated O/D lineman in the first. We need both sides. If Graham or Carter is there you run as fast as can to turn that card in. Prob won’t happen but we can wish.

The Bears have already drafted and are developing Wright and Jones. Get say Smith and Dalman in FA and a rookie in the 2nd and next year's line should be fine.

Outside of Philly most top OLs are a combination of draft picks and FAs.

There’s gonna be a QB we aren’t talking about yet that will slide into the top 10. That will push a lineman down to the Bears. Trenches trenches and more trenches.

With the way Alabama turns out OL that rarely live up to their draft status, might be best to not take Booker.
