I am just going on record now that if Pace chooses to only go with Glennon and he flops I am going hard at Ryan Pace.

If he passes on Watson or Trubiksy and they go on to play well for a team I am going to go after Ryan Pace hard, doesn't matter what his pick does.

That would be further mismanagement of the QB position by him.

I don't think going hard after R.Pace on a message board is gonna matter much....lol

Agreed 100%

If he passes on QB @ 3 he better not only draft a stud on defense, but he better draft a QB after round 1 who gives some hope. This franchise can't afford to have a stinky year with Glennon and Sanchez farting the bed.

Sure we can. It will help us in getting our franchise QB in the 2018 draft.

Don't want Lattimore at #3. Injury concerns are too big. Not a huge fan of Allen at #3 either.

Kaaya will never be an NFL starter.

You can't be a statue with a mediocre arm in the NFL.

Mike Glennon says you can

Clemson QB Deshaun Watson said he did not work out for #Bears or visit. They did go heavy at his pro day.

Mitch Trubisky says he was surprised #Bears didn't put him through workout or bring him in for a pre-draft visit.

Looks like ESPN is going through layoffs this morning, Ed Werner was one of the ones let go.

Wow on the Espn news...that's some timing for that, maybe figured could squeeze in mostly unnoticed cause of draft week. That's a big name let go.

If true... this does not look favorable towards the team drafting either one at #3.

Ed Werder is one of their best guys. ESPN has been slowly losing viewership and listeners and it's no surprise why. They seem to always let go of their best people, and increasingly act like they don't even want to be a sports network anymore.

Yet people still watch. ESPN is as corporate, PC, conservative, and vanilla a network there is. They're looking for yes men/women with little regard towards the quality of the product.

It looks like even Mitchell Trubisky is in on the smokescreen...

Also on Monday, North Carolina QB Mitchell Trubisky confirmed on The Dan Patrick Show that the Bears were one of five teams to conduct a private workout with him. Others to work out Trubisky were the Cleveland Browns, New York Jets, San Francisco 49ers and Buffalo Bills.

Mike & Mike is the only show worth watching. First Take is horrible and and SC6 with Michael and Jemele is just a fucking joke.

It appears ESPN is going to try to cut $$ by going on the cheap with nobodies. Letting go of your best reporters is not the way to go. Their coverage will get worse, but that won't matter. They're bleeding viewers, and it's not going to stop.

Everybody is cutting the cord. ESPN is one of (or is it THE?) highest-cost channels/networks on TV. It's because of companies like ESPN that people are cutting their TV. It just costs too damn much. You can put Kodi/Exodus on a $40 Amazon Fire Stick and get a boatload of free programming (provided you have decent internet). Better than paying $100 - $150/month for cable/Dish/DirecTV.

Darlington on ESPN reporting 49ers covet Jamal Adams and likely to go defense if they keep the pick.

I could have sworn they had him in for a private workout though, unless somebody was lying.

I wonder if Lattimore, Allen and Conley are off.

It was reported that Watson had a phone interview. It was also reported that Trubisky said he had a private work out with the Bears when he was on the Dan Patrick show last week.

Enjoy it while it lasts though because eventually lobbyists will get this stopped. Its already slowly happening with how they can monitor everything you do on the internet. They just have to get the tech to a point where they can easily catch people streaming to cut off their internet. Another tactic is going to be limited data, which Comcast has already done. I fall else fails, they will just increase the cost of internet to a ridiculous amount so you will want to bundle. Since most places only have one choice it won't be hard to do.
