Oddly enough Kaepernick was adopted and raised by an upper middle class white family. That is why I have always had a hard time looking at him like he was a social justice hero of any sort.

Why does his upbringing matter?

Maybe but his team mates on the sidelines weren't the ones responsible for his contract issues. Almost all of them supported Thomas and wanted him on the team long term.

So, like I said before, flipping off his teammates is like yelling at the gas station attendant because gas is too high. I understand his anger but flipping off his team is a douche move.

I think that the finger was intended for the coaches and staff more then it was players. The players were praying so that is usually a sign of respect so. But I probably would’ve save the finger till after the game that’s me.

Maybe but Pete Carroll isn't the GM. The rest of the coaching staff have little to no imput on who gets signed long term. Carroll has some I'm sure but John Schneider is the ultimate decision maker on who gets a long term deal. Schneider wasn't on the sidelines. I know this is frustrating for him but his anger is directed at the wrong people.

Earl Thomas was reportedly on his way to becoming a Kansas City Chief up until breaking his leg Sunday in his game against the Cardinals.

Now that is just fucking wrong. Is it the new thing at CCS to allow alts as long as they are going to bring a shitstorm?
