It's a very team-friendly 5 year deal with a reasonable out after year 3 or 4. He probably exchanged a few million in top potential value for the security of signing a life-altering deal right now. Great job everyone.

He was but Eddie is better at FS and i might be alone on this but i think we would of been better still having Amos playing SS and Eddie at FS then we were having HHCD and having to take Eddie out of his FS spot. Amos doesn't create turnovers (until he's on another team playing against us with game winning INT's in the end zone) but he's a beast at tackling and against the run. I think we need to let HHCD go and get a true SS to replace him and put Eddie back at FS.

We shouldn't re-resign HaHa imo, he's played well but has taken away from Jackson's play. It's actually a good scenario because HaHa should get a good deal somewhere else and we should get a comp pick accordingly.

We need a cheap, good tackling, SS next to Jackson.

You cannot have 20 million/season at S and as you said Haha and Jackson do not compliment one another.

It's expensive, but he's a good young player. IMHO this is a good signing.

Between him, Fuller, Mack, Hicks and Roquon you have a lot of talent at all levels on the D. That area will be solid for the next 2 years (I say 2 because with injuries and regime changes you can never look further than that)
