#Bears HC Matt Nagy says it's an ankle sprain for S Eddie Jackson.

Sounds like they might have dodged a big bullet.

Cannot afford to lose this guy. Probably see him given the next 2 weeks off though.

Next thing we need to know is it high or low? High still is serious enough to—at the very least—have an impact on his effectiveness for the playoffs.

We definitely did dodge a bullet, i don't mind resting Jackson until the playoffs start.

Wont need him against SF, but I wouldn't rule him out. If the Bears can knock Minnesota out I want them to knock Minnesota out week 17. Revenge for the dirty hit against Mitch.

For Pete’s sake, Kiddo, know when to take a knee in the EZ. Give your O the ball at the 25 AND save yourself unnecessary injury.

To be fair I think he saw an opening and was looking to take it back but turned the ankle and went down.

I’m all honesty I thought he rebroke that leg when he first went down before the replay

Hopefully not a high ankle sprain. If not then he'll maybe need to sit one week.

Like Bears4ever_34 said, there is a big difference between a low and high ankle sprain. But good to know he'll be back on the field this season.

An ankle sprain is not keeping a pro athlete, especially one of Jackson's caliber, sidelined for a playoff game. Simply not gonna happen. If the Cowboys won he'd probably play next week.

There is no "to be fair". Due to circumstances of the game, downing it was the correct play.
