I certainly hope he didn't hurt it too bad and he can rest it for a couple of weeks so he's ready to ball in the playoffs. With the pressure the D front can apply, it helps the 2nd teer guys step in and make plays too. Please no repeat of the injury bug that took Mike Brown away prematurely.

he reason he twisted it was because he got stuck in the shitty grass.

Better than turf. Grass gives away. With turf, that could’ve been an ACL tear or broken ankle.

That's not exactly reassuring Nagy...

I listened to the conference. The way Nagy mentioned it, he seemed confident that they will both be back this season.

Finally, a doctor! Everything is ok now!

He would play this week if the Bears hadn't locked up the NFC North.

To be fair I think he saw an opening and was looking to take it back but turned the ankle and went down.

nope, he turned the ankle when he decided it wasn't a smart play to be running with the ball. He stopped and fk!!!

wouldn't have stuck a cleat like that on turf. Difference in injuries per surface has become moot if both surfaces are best available and well maintained.

The Soldier Field grass is well maintained now. The last couple of years, the grass has been in great shape.

Hated seeing high and ankle in same sentence... they seem to take forever.

Someone please get in this kids ear and tell him to kick those Adidas and get him some Nike cleats. All I could think about was D.Rose when he went down awkwardly. Thankfully it wasn’t a knee. Hoping for a fast recovery for my favorite Bear.

Key word here is “mild.” Even though a high sprain can take several weeks to heal, hearing that it’s mild is encouraging. I’d bet he rests and rehabs this and perhaps next week, too, but will be ready to go in playoffs, even if not 100%.

The reason he twisted it was because his brain was split between "run", and "slide".... it was a god awful slide.

Defensive players love to return picks... can’t blame him for wanting to make a play.
The smart move was to take a knee for the TB... instant 25 yards.

Give him the 2 weeks off and he should be good to go.

2 weeks seemed to get Mack back to a playable level.

I think it looked worse than it was.

Wasn't blaming the maintenance. Just pointing out grass isn't really safer, just different.
