Who cares, nothing is going to change no matter who is elected. At least for regular private citizens. Lobbyists might score tax breaks or whatever for their Sith Lords, but us? We are just the means to a politicians end. Yet people keep playing this game. Maybe this is the politician that will do right by me! Yeah....right.

Until political discourse becomes more honest and there is greater transparency at all levels of government, why should we give a shit? We don't affect those decisions one tiny little bit. People with big money have big voices. People with little or no money are lucky if they get a voice at the local level.

What Obama has ignored is the fact that spending on entitlement programs has steadily grown under his presidency. He has repeatedly failed to tackle the entitlement spending tsunami that will swamp the budget as their costs continue to increase at an alarming rate, doubling as a share of the economy within the next few decades.

See the bold words. Why must they speak with such emphasis? These are preaching tactics that even I have used to POUND the point home! We must SHOUT our story and REPEAT things over and over until they have no choice but to believe us!!!



That is what is wrong with the political conversation in America. It is nothing new, but depending on who is producing the commercials and articles it just gets worse. Fat-headed loud-mouths like Newt and Karl Rove need to exit the planet. They are wasting my air.

It's cute the way you still have faith in government to do anything that has the interests of the people in mind first and foremost.... Cute in the way my son believes in Santa Claus.



Every single one of those points you listed is driven by MONEY. Those with the money will control what happens with those items the way they see fit. To think the government has any control at all over them is foolhardy, to say the least. As long as certain groups and interests can continue to throw money at politicians, this will go on for eternity. I hope eventually the American people wake up and realize this, but I won't hold my breath.

To think that every cabinet position filled by POTUS does not have any bearing upon us is insane.

Look at Geithner, Bernanke, Holder and Sebelius to name a few.



While talking about Holder (and how he has no influence according to comments posted here) how about the number of times he is suing states for what he and the POTUS consider to be wrong. *** marriage in individual states along with immigration reform to name a few.
