Every Fields sack against Green Bay, for the “geniuses” that are saying that he “held onto the ball to long”

Stop. That's a fucking nightmare. That's a playcaller who has no idea what he's doing.

Getsy doesnt know what defense is being called.

The facts are the ball can be thrown to the sidelines as 15 is coming out of his break.

This is the NFL. You gotta be able to make throws like that.

Getsy is not great but there was a receiver the ball could have been thrown to. This is not the play to go after Getsy on.

15 held up a step, while the DB was recovering. That means that when he goes again, the DB already has momentum, and is only a step or 2 away, and is moving faster than the receiver. That is something that gets jumped and defended, or jumped and picked.

Move on from what? Lol. As far as we know, everyone is coming back.

You can't move on from a player/coach that's still with the team. Or is this one of those imaginary "I'm officially done with X" scenarios?
Don’t stop believing @sevvy !

1st sack, him stepping up to run, not pass, at about 4 sec is what helped create the sack. The DE 'shed' his blocker because the blocker was protecting a different part of the field. He took a couple inside sacks where you might expect him to roll away. I'm not blaming those on him and there's no question that the OL sucked yesterday but he really doesn't have the best feel for pressure. You can't afford him the same consideration as elite pocket passers with rush awareness when he is not one of those. Some of those inside rushes were completely unavoidable but we still had those 3 and 4 sec count sacks.

Unfortunately, we can't see if those were long developing plays or if he had targets available. It's pretty obvious that after 1 quarter, both Getsy and Fields should be aware that pressure was going to be an issue all day. QB without good protection is obviously very hard and that is a fair description of yesterday with some devastating stunts just making it worse but you want your 3 year QB with wheels to do better overall. It's just one game and things are still improving but there are some trends.

I don't see many mention of the throw that should have been picked at the end zone when he could have easily thrown away from the defender to an open Kmet. Yes, an almost pick but this is not stat time and should also be part of the evaluation just like drops should not count against him.

When we have more than one team say that he's easy to defend if you can keep him in the pocket (make him play QB), we should listen until he proves them wrong.
1st sack, did you not see Fields had to not only drop his eyes, but also had to bend over as much a would’ve had to do, if he were tying his shoe laces? Do you think that effect his ability to read the D immediately after the snap? Or mess up the timing of the play?

We have seen Fields throw to the sidelines just out of reach of the defender so he is fuly capable of making that throw.

Does the video show Fields calling out line protections at all like other QB's do? I could have missed it but do not see any.
The video does not, because it picks up immediately before the snap on each play, but Fields did in game. The line just played like shit.

Sure I did but it doesn't cause you to run into a sack 3 seconds later. Not excusing the OL at all in this game. They sucked.

The same fans that believe (or believed) in Braxton Jones think that Fields is just gonna completely change.

The OL had a bad game.

JF had a game like he has had SEVERAL times throughout the course of this season and career, he holds the ball too long. It is what it is.

Time to throw is from the snap, until the defender first contacts Fields, in the process of the sack.

You can see the time stamps on the fucking video, in case you’re confused about how long a second is.

Sack at 0:39, low snap, Fields has to drop his eyes, and bend over to prevent a fumble, by the time he gets upright again, the pass rush is already in top of him. Tries to step up, and Van Ness sheds his man and sacks Fields from behind.

Sack 2:50, sacked in less than 2 seconds

Sack at 4:53, sacked in less than 2 seconds

Sack at 4:45, gets hit in less than 2 seconds, breaks free and tries to step up, interior has already broken down, leaving no pocket for him to step up into, and gets sacked immediately .

Sack at 10:35, gets sacked in less than 2 seconds.

Is less than 2 seconds to throw, considered good pass protection?

All sacks came with Fields trying to “tHrOw FrOm ThE pOcKeT”

It doesn’t matter if it’s Williams, or Tom Fucking Brady. With this offensive line, and the play calls, any QB is going to fail.

Watching EVERY SINGLE FUCKING SACK and I can’t put a single one on Fields for “hOlDiNg On To ThE bAlL tOo LoNg”.

Terrible.
This doesn't fit the narrative for the Fields haters.

Same old excuses and this is 3 years later. It has already been proven over his career that he holds the ball longer than any other QB in the league.

Why can’t you just accept that he’s not very good? It’s been 3 years of this

Jordan love has less talent around him, had played only 1 year and he lit up the Bears and made Fields QB play look amateur

FYI. Fields and Love play out of the same system too.
How can you say Love has less talent around him? OL gives him time and he has 3,4,5 WR's running free.

I hear Love's OL tells him....don't worry about dinner, have in the pocket during the game.
